Medianusantaranews.com-After performing the Zuhur prayer, President Joko Widodo met with a number of scholars and community leaders from the Aceh Province at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Approximately 94 scholars and community leaders from Aceh came to visit the President at the event.
“We are in hospitality with the President. The President has visited Aceh many times, so we are here,” said H. Nuruzzahri Yahya (Waled Munir Nu) after the meeting.
Nuruzzahri Yahya, familiarly called Waled Nu, said that many of President Jokowi’s government programs were very beneficial to the people, especially the Islamic boarding school environment. So, the arrival of the ulama and the people of Aceh was used to express their gratitude for the programs.
There are a lot of Pak Jokowi’s programs, which have been and will be done, benefit the people and the pesantren world. Mr. Jokowi has also endorsed the santri day, we will definitely thank you at the pesantren,” he said.
Ahead of the five-year democratic party, he also conveyed a message to all parties to always speak rightly and not contribute to spreading false news that could divide the people. He also hopes that the upcoming presidential and legislative elections can be passed peacefully.
“Face this democratic party in a peaceful and understanding manner. Valid, don’t spread slander, and don’t divide the nation,” he said.(MNN)
